What is OUR Family Resource Center?

OUR Family Resource Center (FRC) has been created as part of the Kentucky Education Reform Act (KERA). The Center is another way that Eubank and Woodstock communities provide services to enhance the students ability to succeed in school. Parents and teachers agree that is extremely difficult for children to be successful in school when they are distracted by problems in their home environment. OUR Center has been established to assist our children and their families in solving these problems by providing direct services or by linking families with other resources in the surrounding communities.

How do I contact OUR Family Resource Center?

A personal visit is always welcome, or you may reach us by calling the Center. The Center is located directly across from the front office.

What services are provided by OUR Family Resource Center?

We are here to assist children and their families in any way we can. Listed below are a few of our services we provide.

• Information on various resources in the community and social services needs.
• Self-esteem activities for students at Eubank and Woodstock Elementary.
• Assist parents and parents-to-be in health, nutrition, and child development.
• Parent and youth library consisting of books, videos, and other literature promoting educational and family issues.
• Information on local child care services.
• Parent workshops on issues such as stress management, communicating with your child , and dealing with anger.
